Project Geoscientist

Simon joined LAB Energy in September 2026. Prior to this, Simon worked as a Geoscientist with SDX Energy within their Subsurface Team, predominantly advancing Exploration and Development activities in Morocco. He also spent time assisting SDX’s drilling operations in Rabat and providing subsurface support for their Business Development team.

Simon has also been in industry roles with Circle Oil and Perenco UK LTD, covering a range of projects including global new ventures and prospect opportunity evaluation. Simon also previously supported an A&D advisory firm and a junior mining exploration outfit.

Simon holds an MSc in Petroleum Geoscience and a BSc in Geology, with a Year in Industry, both from Royal Holloway, University of London.
